PROUD MOMENTS

Last week's soccer match L was nominated, Man of the Macth for his u11 team. His position is Right Back, but he is an all-rounder that can play any position. Last year he was Striker and the Coach used him as a Centre Mid as well. Unlike his big brother who is an excellent "natuaral" soccer player, he has to be mould, but a fast learner indeed... They have matches every Saturday mornings. I would love to be at the side line when he plays, but unfortunately I can only make it once a month because I'm working most Saturdays.
Well done L we are proud of you!!!!!

LIGHT

THIS LIGHT OF MINE, I'M GONNA LET IT SHINE....

So many times sincere believers feel anxious about where they stand in life. How do I know that I'm in God's will? How can I be sure that I haven't missed something along the way? God is ultimately in control. He is able to hold us to Him better than we are able to hold onto Him.

Thank you DavidFunk (http://basicbloganomics.com/2009/06/more-awards.html.) you have always given me the kindess of words, im receiving these awards with humbleness, knowing that God send different people on my path in order to stay focus in my work (whatever it might be).
I want to forward these awards to all who is following my site/blog, because it is through daily trafficing that I am learning a lot more about others and myself.

JOB DESCRIPTION

PARENT :

This is hysterical. If it had been presented this way,
I don't believe any of us would have done it!!!!

POSITION :

Mum, Mummy, Mama , Ma
Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa, Pop

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Long term, team players needed, for challenging,
permanent work in an
often chaotic environment.
Candidates must possess excellent communication
and organizational skills and be willing to work
variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends
and frequent 24 hour shifts on call.
Some overnight travel required, including trips to
primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities!
Travel expenses not reimbursed.
Extensive courier duties also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The rest of your life.
Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily,
until someone needs $5.
Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly.
Also, must possess the physical stamina of a
pack mule
and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat
in case, this time, the screams from
the backyard are not someone just crying wolf.
Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges,
such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets
and stuck zippers.
Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and
coordinate production of multiple homework projects.
Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings
for clients of all ages and mental outlooks.
Must be a willing to be indispensable one minute,
an embarrassment the next.

Must assume final, complete accountability for
the quality of the end product.
Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and
janitorial work throughout the facility.

POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION :

None.
Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills,
so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE :

None required unfortunately.
On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.

WAGES AND COMPENSATION :

Get this! You pay them!
Offering frequent raises and bonuses.
A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because
of the assumption that college will help them
become financially independent.
When you die, you give them whatever is left.
The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that
you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more.

BENEFITS :

While no health or dental insurance, no pension,
no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays and
no stock options are offered;
this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth, unconditional love,
and free hugs and kisses for life if you play your cards right.

Two men went fishing. One was an experienced fisherman, the other wasn't. Every time the experienced fisherman caught a big fish, he put it in his= ice chest to keep it fresh. Whenever the inexperienced fisherman caught a big fish, he threw it back.

The experienced fisherman watched this go on all day and finally got tired of seeing the man waste good fish. "Why do you keep throwing back all the big fish you catch?" he asked.

The inexperienced fisherman replied, "I only have a small frying pan."

Sometimes, like that fisherman, we throwback the big plans, big dreams, big jobs, big opportunities that God gives us. Our faith is too small.

We laugh at that fisherman who didn't figure out that all he needed was a bigger frying pan, yet how ready are we to increase the size of our faith?

Whether it's a problem or a possibility, God will never give you anything bigger than you can handle. That means we can confidently walk into anything God brings our way.

You can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13.) Nothing is too big for God.

REMEMBER:

Stop telling God you've got big problems.
Tell your problems you've got a BIG GOD!

HOWABOUTTHAT

A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.
Suddenly, her husband burst into the kitchen.
'Careful,' he said, 'CAREFUL! Put in some more butter! Oh my gosh! You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY! Turn them! TURN THEM NOW! We need more butter. Oh my gosh! WHERE are we going to get MORE BUTTER? They're going to STICK! Careful. CAREFUL! I said be CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you CRAZY? Have you LOST your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the! salt. USE THE SALT! THE SALT!'
The wife stared at him.
'What in the world is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?'
The husband calmly replied, 'I just wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving.

ROMANS 1:8

Paul almost always began his letters by expressing appreciation and thanks. What a great example!

In this verse, Paul praises the faith of the Roman Christians. Their faith in Christ and their location at the center of the Roman Empire was spreading the Gospel across the entire known world.

Today's technology is aiding in spreading the Gospel in ways Paul could never have imagined.

Emails, websites, blogs, Facebook and Twitter are new tools we have to share God's Word. What an exciting time! Let our faith be reported all over the world!
