THANKFUL THURSDAY

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for me being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.

Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things that are of you. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And it is the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that don't believe.

I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers, and for each and every family member in their households.. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

When I open this e-mail today, I thought I need to post this. We are so quick to critize or have something bad to say about others without thinking how it's going to effect them . We really have to stop victimizing another. You need to start saying "I do not need your opinion" especially if it's negative or bad. We all have the right to be different. I know I am are YOU...

Do my blog really portray the kind of person I am or is it what I want people to see (all about Marketing).

It is good to post pictures or let me rephrase it is better to post pictures instead of writing about how you exactly feel..

Well this is who I am and through the will of God I pray I will continue to be myself and be more humble, give much love and affection, show more appreciation, give abundantly, listen more attentively, do freely, be more patient and forgiving and have much more faith in the will of my God.

Yes, this earthly life of mine is not perfect and it can never be. While I am waiting for that day to be with my Father, I need to stay focus and fulfill His plan that he have for me, as it is not easy, I need to trust in Him.

God Bless.

THOUGHTS OF MY HEART

I should be kinder than necessary because everyone I meet is fighting some kind of battle. A sharp tongue can cut my own throat. If I want my dreams to come true, I mustn't oversleep. Of all the things I wear, my expression is the most important. The best vitamin for making friends...... is B1. The happiness of my life depends on the quality of my thoughts. The heaviest thing I can carry is a grudge. One thing I can give and still keep....is my word. I lie the loudest when you lie to myself, If I lack the courage to start, I have already finished. One thing I can't recycle is wasted time. Ideas won't work unless ' I' do.

The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice. The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too late to become what I might have been. Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So I have to love the people who treat me right.. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If I get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes my life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it..

Friends are like balloons; once I let them go, I might not get them back. Sometimes I get so busy with my own live and problems that I may not even notice that I have let them fly away. Sometimes I am are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that I forget what's right and wrong. Sometimes I just don't realize what real friendship means until it is too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie all friends that I have to my heart.

PROUD MOMENTS

Last week's soccer match L was nominated, Man of the Macth for his u11 team. His position is Right Back, but he is an all-rounder that can play any position. Last year he was Striker and the Coach used him as a Centre Mid as well. Unlike his big brother who is an excellent "natuaral" soccer player, he has to be mould, but a fast learner indeed... They have matches every Saturday mornings. I would love to be at the side line when he plays, but unfortunately I can only make it once a month because I'm working most Saturdays.
Well done L we are proud of you!!!!!

LIGHT

THIS LIGHT OF MINE, I'M GONNA LET IT SHINE....

So many times sincere believers feel anxious about where they stand in life. How do I know that I'm in God's will? How can I be sure that I haven't missed something along the way? God is ultimately in control. He is able to hold us to Him better than we are able to hold onto Him.

PARENT :

This is hysterical. If it had been presented this way,
I don't believe any of us would have done it!!!!

POSITION :

Mum, Mummy, Mama , Ma
Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa, Pop

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Long term, team players needed, for challenging,
permanent work in an
often chaotic environment.
Candidates must possess excellent communication
and organizational skills and be willing to work
variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends

Some overnight travel required, including trips to
primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities!
Travel expenses not reimbursed.
Extensive courier duties also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The rest of your life.
Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily,
until someone needs $5.
Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly.
Also, must possess the physical stamina of a
pack mule
and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat
in case, this time, the screams from
the backyard are not someone just crying wolf.
Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges,
such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets
and stuck zippers.
Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and
coordinate production of multiple homework projects.
Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings
for clients of all ages and mental outlooks.
Must be a willing to be indispensable one minute,
an embarrassment the next.

the quality of the end product.
Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and
janitorial work throughout the facility.

POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION :

None.
Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills,
so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE :

None required unfortunately.
On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.

WAGES AND COMPENSATION :

Get this! You pay them!
Offering frequent raises and bonuses.
A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because
of the assumption that college will help them
become financially independent.
When you die, you give them whatever is left.
The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that
you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more.

BENEFITS :

While no health or dental insurance, no pension,
no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays and
no stock options are offered;
this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth, unconditional love,
and free hugs and kisses for life if you play your cards right.

Two men went fishing. One was an experienced fisherman, the other wasn't. Every time the experienced fisherman caught a big fish, he put it in his= ice chest to keep it fresh. Whenever the inexperienced fisherman caught a big fish, he threw it back.

The experienced fisherman watched this go on all day and finally got tired of seeing the man waste good fish. "Why do you keep throwing back all the big fish you catch?" he asked.

The inexperienced fisherman replied, "I only have a small frying pan."

Sometimes, like that fisherman, we throwback the big plans, big dreams, big jobs, big opportunities that God gives us. Our faith is too small.

We laugh at that fisherman who didn't figure out that all he needed was a bigger frying pan, yet how ready are we to increase the size of our faith?

Whether it's a problem or a possibility, God will never give you anything bigger than you can handle. That means we can confidently walk into anything God brings our way.

You can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13.) Nothing is too big for God.

REMEMBER:

Stop telling God you've got big problems.
Tell your problems you've got a BIG GOD!

HOWABOUTTHAT

A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.
Suddenly, her husband burst into the kitchen.
'Careful,' he said, 'CAREFUL! Put in some more butter! Oh my gosh! You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY! Turn them! TURN THEM NOW! We need more butter. Oh my gosh! WHERE are we going to get MORE BUTTER? They're going to STICK! Careful. CAREFUL! I said be CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you CRAZY? Have you LOST your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the! salt. USE THE SALT! THE SALT!'
The wife stared at him.
'What in the world is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?'
The husband calmly replied, 'I just wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm driving.

ROMANS 1:8

Paul almost always began his letters by expressing appreciation and thanks. What a great example!

In this verse, Paul praises the faith of the Roman Christians. Their faith in Christ and their location at the center of the Roman Empire was spreading the Gospel across the entire known world.

Today's technology is aiding in spreading the Gospel in ways Paul could never have imagined.

Emails, websites, blogs, Facebook and Twitter are new tools we have to share God's Word. What an exciting time! Let our faith be reported all over the world!

Something to think about

There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job was to process all the mail that had illegible addresses.

One day, a letter came addressed in a shaky handwriting to God with no actual address. He thought he should open it to see what it was about. The letter read:

Dear God,
I am an 83 year old widow, living on a very small pension.
Yesterday someone stole my purse.. It had $100 in it, which was all the money I had until my next pension payment. Next Sunday is Christmas, and I had invited two of my friends over for dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with, have no family to turn to, and you are my only hope. Can you please help me?
Sincerely, Edna

The postal worker was touched. He showed the letter to all the other workers. Each one dug into his or her wallet and came up with a few dollars.

By the time he made the rounds, he had collected $96, which they put into an envelope and sent to the woman. The rest of the day, all the workers felt a warm glow thinking of Edna and the dinner she would be able to share with her friends.

Christmas came and went. A few days later, another letter came from the same old lady to God. All the workers gathered around while the letter was opened.

It read:
Dear God,
How can I ever thank you enough for what you did for me? Because of your gift of love, I was able to fix a glorious dinner for my friends. We had a very nice day and I told my friends of your wonderful gift.
By the way, there was $4 missing. I think it might have been those bastards at the post office.
Sincerely, Edna

SHARING A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE, TEA OR MOUNTAIN DEW

This morning when I wakend and saw the light of day, I softly said,
"Good morning, Lord, Bless everyone I love and know"

Right away I thought of you and said a loving prayer, that He would bless you specially and keep you free from care. I thought of all the happiness a day could hold in store, I wished it all for you because no one deserves it more.

I felt so warm and good inside
My heart was all aglow...
I know God heard my prayers for you,
He hears them all, you know.
God bless you today and everyday...

SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERMENT

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her

altitude and spotted a man in a boat below.

She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I

would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air

balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2346 feet

above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude

and 100

degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude."

She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a DA supporter!"

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist," everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still

lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be an ANC Government official"

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you are going.

You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You

made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to

solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in

before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault."

Garbage Bage

TWO GARBAGE BAGS??

A little old lady, is walking down the street dragging two large plastic garbage bags behind her. One of the bags rips and, every once in a while, a $20 bill falls out onto the sidewalk.

Noticing this, a policeman stops her and says, “Ma'am, there are $20 bills falling out of your bag.”

“Oh, really? Darn!” says the little old lady. “I'd better go back and see if I can find them. Thanks for telling me...”

“Well now, not so fast.” says the cop... “How did you get all that money? You didn't steal it, did you?”

“Oh no.” says the little old lady. “You see, my back yard is right next to the football stadium parking lot. On game days, a lot of fans come and pee through the fence into my flower garden. So, I stand behind the fence with my hedge clippers. Each time some guy sticks his thing through the fence, I say, “$20 or off it comes!””

“Well, that seems only fair.” laughs the cop. “OK, good luck! Oh, by the way, what's in the other bag?”

“Well, you know,” says the little old lady, “not everybody pays.”
